In less than 3 months, 2013 will be over and awards season will be in full swing starting Sunday, January 12, 2014 with the 71st annual Golden Globe Awards, then just a few days later on January 18, 2014 the 20th annual SAG Awards and ending the season on Sunday March 2, 2014 with the highly anticipated 86th annual Academy Awards. Now is the crucial time for actors, filmmakers and everyone associated with the industry to get their films shown before the deadline is up, which is most likely the end of the year. Although only a few films mentioned in this list have a possibility of being nominated for the prestigious awards, I wanted to choose films that most people would enjoy and are excited to see. The list is starting with films from about August til December and is packed with different genres such as action, drama, fantasy, and sci-fi.
