Wizard of Oz Munchkin has passed on, over the rainbow

Meinhardt Raabe, otherwise known as The Coroner Munchkin from the 1939 classic film "Wizard of Oz" passed away at the age of 94 on April 9, 2010 from a heart attack.
He is one of the more famous munchkins due to the fact that he sang the lines:
As coroner, I must aver
I thoroughly examined her.
And she’s not only merely dead,
She’s really most sincerely dead.
This was when they were all in Munchkin Land just finding out that the Wicked Witch of the East died.
Raabe, was not only an Oz munchkin but he was also the first Little Oscar, the mascot of the Oscar Mayer meat company. Also a skilled aviator, he served stateside in the Civil Air Patrol in World War II, by all accounts the smallest pilot in uniform, never surpassing the height of 4'7".
Raabe was present in 2007 when a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was unvieled for the Munchkins. There are only about 4 surviving munchkins left from the film.
Here he is in Sept 09 celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Wizard of Oz at Tavern on the Green in Central Park, New York City.
