Michael Caine, who portrays Alfred in Christopher Nolans, "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" was interviewed at the premiere for Nolan's latest film, "Inception" which Caine is also in, and was asked about the 3rd Batman. He stated that filming should start in April and will have a July 20, 2012 release. The interview is below:
