Jude Law recently stated in an interview that not only will there be a "Sherlock Holmes" sequel but they will begin filming the action comedy in the fall, most likely October. "It looks likely that we're going to shoot the second Sherlock Holmes in October, I don't know yet where the story will go,” Law said, “but there are a lot of Sherlock Holmes novels to choose from.” So, if they will be filming the sequel in 3 months my guess is that Guy Ritchie and the writers on the film are almost done with the script. Law also said that he will be teaming up with Martin Scorsese on his next film, "Hugo Cabret" he didn't want to give too much away but he said that he believes this is Scorsese's first film for children and that he will be portraying Hugo Cabret's father. After "Hugo Cabret" and "Sherlock Holmes 2" he will be in Steven Soderbergh's film "Contagion" stating that "It's an ensemble piece about the spread of a H1N1-type disease on an international scale. So it's going to be a very busy second half of the year; very lazy first half of the year.”
Sounds like he's got a lot coming up in these next few months. I'm excited for a "Sherlock Holmes" sequel and a Scorsese children film sounds awesome. What do you all think??
