The Dark Knight Rises into theaters this weekend!!!




The day has finally come. Moviegoers everywhere have been patiently waiting for this day for the last four years. Director Christopher Nolan is ending his legendary trilogy with the latest and final installment of his Batman franchise. “The Dark Knight Rises” opens tonight at midnight and theaters everywhere have been sold out for weeks. It is claimed to be the most anticipated film of the summer, but the way tickets are selling and the hype it’s receiving it very well may be the most anticipated film of the year.

The film stars Christian Bale in the title role back as the crime fighting vigilante, Michael Caine is back as Alfred, Bruce Wayne’s butler and most trusted confidante and Gary Oldman is reprising his role as Commissioner Gordon of Gotham City. New to the trilogy is Anne Hathaway who will be portraying Selina Kyle and Catwoman, Tom Hardy will be portraying the evil villain Bane, and the lovable Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be playing John Blake.


The Dark Knight Rises” takes place eight years after the last film, and a new terrorist is in town to attempt to take over Gotham City. Batman struggles to protect his beloved city, now that it has plagued him an enemy.
