The Wizard of Oz will be re-released in theaters to kickoff 75th anniversary!!!

The most beloved film of all time is getting a modern makeover, with a limited one-week run in September to celebrate the 75-year anniversary of its Technicolor debut. The film will be converted into 3D and IMAX and is scheduled to hit theaters on September 20 and will screen in IMAX's 400 theaters nationwide. The restoration of the classic film is part of Warner Bros.' promotion for the 75th anniversary home video release which will come out on October 1. The five-disc set will include Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, DVD and Ultraviolet versions of the film as well as a new documentary on the making of the movie to go along with other bonus features.
