The Back Up Plan

"The Back Up Plan" stars Jennifer Lopez and Alex O'Loughlin as two strangers who meet one day in New York City after they steal each other's cab. Jennifer Lopez portrays Zoe, this gorgeous successful woman who has had nothing but bad luck with men. Since she's had such horrible luck and can't seem to find the right guy she decides she wants to have a baby before it's too late. She goes to the doctor and gets artificially inseminated. On that same day, she meets Stan (O'Loughlin) and her luck begins to change.



I'd recommend this film to anyone who enjoys Jennifer Lopez, predictable romantic comedies, ridiculous side characters, and corny storylines.

This movie was enjoyable but incredibly predictable. Lopez was beautiful and delightful but at times very annoying. Her acting was decent but nothing to ride home about. O'Loughlin was good and it was nice to see a newcomer take the screen with JLo, but there was nothing in the film that was impressive about his talent. I don't blame him I blame the film. It's difficult to see how any actor could showcase their talent in a rom-com so I won't judge him or his performance.
