2001 Memento to be re-released in theaters!!!

The 2001 film,  that put the remarkable director, Christopher Nolan, on the map was the mind boggling 'Memento.' The film stars Guy Pierce and this year marks it's 10 year anniversary. To celebrate it's success, 11 movie theaters in 11 cities will be re-releasing this classic film for one night on February 17, 2011. The screenings will feature a recorded never-before-seen Q&A with Nolan talking to Guillermo Del Toro from a February 4 screening in Los Angeles.
The following cities that are showing the film are New York City, Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, San Diego, Washington DC, Toronto and Vancouver, with Seattle in the works as well. For full information on the screenings, check out the press release here.

If you can't make it to one of the screenings, don't worry because they will release a special 10th anniversary edition Blu-Ray as well. It will include a brand new featurette with him that discusses the legacy of the film, and also his script, an audio commentary with Nolan and the original short story the film was based on 'Anatomy of a Scene' and more. You can pick that up on Tuesday, February 22, 2011.
