The Hangover Part 2!!!

'The Hangover Part II' stars the original cast members Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, and Justin Bartha and is directed by Todd Phillips. Two years after Doug's disastrous Vegas bachelor party, the boys are back, ready to party and in Thailand to celebrate Stu's wedding. Since the last time they all were together, and things spiraled out of control Stu decides that he doesn't want a bachelor party, and wants a simple friendly brunch. Can the wolfpack handle such a low key event or will Alan again drug his friends in order to have a good time?

'The Hangover Part II' fails to disappoint loyal fans to the original ‘Hangover.’ The film takes place in Thailand where Stu and his fiancée are getting married. Doug begs Stu to invite Alan to his wedding, because Alan feels left out. Since Alan is there the wolf pack is together again and events don’t go according to plan.

‘The Hangover Part II’ is hysterical, but not as funny as the original classic. The acting is great and Zach Galifianakis definitely steals the show again. Bradley Cooper’s character Phil isn’t as comical as the first but Ed Helms and Galifianakis definitely make up for it. Ken Jeong who portrays Mr. Chow has a bigger role in this film and keeps the audience engaged. Justin Bartha who portrays Doug unfortunately has an even smaller role in this film then he did in the first, which is disappointing. It’d be interesting to see his character hang out with the ‘wolf pack’ and see how crazy he is.

The reason why some people may not enjoy this film over the original is the fact that it is literally exactly the same as ‘The Hangover’ except it is set in Thailand and not Las Vegas. But, it’s comedic, it’s entertaining and it’s fun.

If you’ve seen the original and loved it, chances are you will love the second one, just don’t go into the theater looking for gold, go into the theater looking for a ridiculously funny film that will have you laughing all night.
