Actor/Comedian Eddie Murphy will host the 84th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday February 26, 2012. The comedian has not been onstage since his 'Eddie Murphy Raw' stand up show which was 25 years ago. Back in 2007 when Murphy was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in the film, Dream Girls he abruptly left the show after Alan Arkin won the award over Murphy.
