The Twilight Saga:
Breaking Dawn Part 1 is the fourth installment of The Twilight Saga franchise. The film stars all the original cast
members, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Green and
Nickie Reed. This film centers on Bella and Edward’s wedding day and honeymoon.
The couple decides they will wed and enjoy their honeymoon before Edward
changes Bella into a vampire. But, their honeymoon takes a turn for the worst
when Bella discovers a harmful demon living inside her or so she thinks. Can
Edward save Bella before it’s too late? Or will the demon destroy Bella and
make Edward live for an eternity with regret, guilt and emptiness without her?
The film is a typical Twilight
movie filled with corny dialogue, cheesy CGI and a lot of scenes with Taylor
Lautner half naked. The acting is mediocre and the story is dragged out. Most
of the film is Edward and Bella preparing for their wedding day and enjoying
their honeymoon, until Bella realizes that she’s pregnant. The honeymoon scenes
are completely drawn out, but not much happens in the beginning of the book Breaking Dawn, so this film had to have
some drawn out scenes. Not much action occurs until the very end, which is
actually exciting and fun to watch. The birth is scene is hard to watch, it’s
quite gory and surprisingly dark for a PG-13 film.
The Twilight Saga:
Breaking Dawn Part1 is highly recommended to fans and readers. The books
are amazing, and unfortunately the movies don’t do them justice, but to see the
characters come alive on the big screen is really fun to watch. Catch the film this holiday season and
prepare for the final film next November.
