OZ: The Great and Powerful News...
Director Sam Raimi will be filming 'OZ: The Great anf Powerful' this July, which is a prequel to the 1939 film version, 'The Wizard of Oz.' Robert Downey Junior was originally linked to the lead role as OZ, but he passed then the role was given to the ever so talented Johnny Depp, who also passed. Now the role is in talks with Oscar nominated, and Oscar host, James Franco. The role of the Wicked Witch of the West is in talks right now with Mila Kunis as the number one option. Honestly, it's quite difficult for me to picture this film with these actors. I love James Franco and Mila Kunis, but I'm not sure how I feel about them in these classic roles. What do you think??

Joseph Gordon-Levitt in The Dark Knight Rises?!
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in talks right now about appearing in Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated Batman flick, 'The Dark Knight Rises'. No word on if he has been officially cast yet or who he may be portraying, but in my opinion no matter who he plays, it will be awesome!!! If he does get cast he will be rejoining fellow castmate Tom Hardy (who portrayed Eames in 'Inception') and is portraying the villian Bane in 'The Dark Knight Rises.' Gordon-Levitt will also be reteaming with director Christopher Nolan who directed him in 'Inception.' I honestly hope he gets cast because I think he'd be really good. What do you guys think??
Spiderman Swinging!!!
Take a peek behind the scenes of the filming of the new untitled Spiderman reboot of him swinging around!!!
Superman has finally been cast!!!!
Henry Cavill will portray the legendary man of steel in the Zack Snyder directed reboot 'Superman'!!! Snyder said, “In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time, and I am honored to be a part of his return to the big screen. I also join Warner Bros., Legendary and the producers in saying how excited we are about the casting of Henry. He is the perfect choice to don the cape and S shield.” They are hoping for a December 2012 release. What do you think??
Captain America Picture!!!
Chris Evans graces the cover of Empire magazine as his latest character Captain America. Below is a little information of what is inside the magazine.
"Scripts had been developed that took place half in World War Two, half in the modern day and none of those scripts were particularly successful because the costume ended up overshadowing the man," says Marvel chief Kevin Feige. "So we finally said, 'If we could make a Captain America movie any way we wanted to make it, how would we make it?' Well, we'd set the entire movie in the past, in that period, with all of the Marvel trimmings. And so we made the fun, kick-ass Captain America movie we wanted to.""I've always loved Raiders and the tone that it had," says director Joe Johnston. "It was period but didn't feel like it was made in the period. It felt like a modern-day film about the period, which is what we're doing on Captain America. It will not feel like a war movie. It's funny where it needs to be and emotional where it needs to be and serious and full of action."
And he's not just an American hero, argues Evans. "I think he's the ideal human," says Evans. "Not just American. It's what being a good person is. Steve's managed to overcome all the shortcomings he's had in life and he does what's good and what he believes is right."
