Batman 3 Has A Title!!!

Christopher Nolan recently announced that the third installment in his Batman films will be titled, 'The Dark Knight Rises." Nolan also stated that there won't be a riddler. Check out what else he had to say on the July 20, 2012 release:
"We'll use many of the same characters as we have all along, and we'll be introducing some new ones," Nolan also said that the studio has agreed with him not to shoot the film in 3D.

What do you think?? Are you excited for the 3rd Batman or do you think nothing can top 'The Dark Knight'?

'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' stars Michael Douglas as the infamous greedy broker, Gordon Gekko and Shia LaBeouf as young stock broker, Jake Moore. It takes place back in 2008, 7 years after Gekko is released from jail. Times are rough and the economy is starting to dwindle, Moore's mentor and father figure, Louis Zabel (Frank Langella) and his company start to falter and is about to be bought out. After news breaks that the company is going under and Zabel dies unexpectedly Jake is adamant to find out who was the cause for the company and the company owner's death.

Step Brothers!!!

Okay, so if you haven't noticed yet, I'm a movie fan but a big sucker for stupid movies. 'Step Brothers' is in my opinion, hilarious. Director/writer Adam McKay should have won an award for the most random, and ridiculous comedy. It stars Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly who are both almost 40 and live at home with their single parent. Brennan (Ferrell) lives with his mom, Nancy Huff (Mary Steenburgen) and Dale (Reilly) lives with his dad, Dr. Robert Doback. When Nancy and Robert get married, they decide to move into Robert's house with their two sons. Dale and Brennan are both 40, single, jobless, and absolutely ridiculous.

Stand By Me

The 1986 Rob Reiner film, 'Stand By Me' stars Whil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman, and Jerry O'Connell in an adventure that turns these young boys into men. Gordie (Wheaton), Chris (Phoenix), Teddy (Feldman) and Verne (O'Connell) are young adolescent boys that embark on an adventure to find the body of a missing teenager. Verne finds out through eavesdropping, that his brother found the body in the woods, and the 4 boys camp out and spend 2 whole days searching for this missing boy just to be looked at as 'heroes.'

'Oz The Great and Powerful'

Sam Raimi's next project, 'Oz The Great and Powerful' sounds somewhat disappointing, in my opinion. The movie will star Robert Downey Jr. in the title role which sounds great I mean who doesn't like RDJ, not to mention the fact that he shares the same caliber of Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio in which he very rarely disappoints in his roles. But, supposedly they are creating the character of OZ as a sneaky salesman who is just posing as a magician. The film starts off with a man who just found out the magician slept with his wife. So the magician runs and finds himself into the Land of Oz where he meets and falls in love with Glinda the Good Witch. Together they try to fight off the evil wicked witches of the east and west, Evanora and Theodora. Theodora used to be a good witch but after OZ refused her sexual advances, Evanora convinces her to join forces and rule all of OZ. The witches are supposed to be sexy and seductive and wear thigh high boots.

Does anyone else think this sounds awful? L. Frank Baum would probably turn over in his grave if he heard this is what they are creating with his work and his characters. If you do not know who L. Frank Baum is, because I'm sure people in Hollywood don't, he is the creator of all things 'OZ.' He has written tons and tons of childrens books with all different stories residing in the land of OZ with most of the same characters. The 1939 movie, 'The Wizard of OZ' which stars Judy Garland as Dorothy was loosely based off of L. Frank Baum's book 'The Wonderful Wizard of OZ.' I hope there is more to 'OZ the Great and Powerful' because right now, it sounds awful and completely disappointing. Am I wrong in feeling this way? Maybe I'm just biast because 'The Wizard of OZ' is my favorite film of all time, but I hope the other OZ films that are in the making don't disappoint. Please share your thoughts.

Emma Stone Confirmed as Gwen Stacy!!!!

Up and coming actress, Emma Stone, has been cast in the Spiderman reboot as Gwen Stacy, the female lead opposite Andrew Garfield's character of Peter Parker/Spiderman. Matt Tolmach, president of Columbia Pictures said, "It's been an incredible journey for us to watch Emma's star rise as an actress. She is extraordinarily talented and has a very special on-screen spark that is perfect for this role. Given her history with the studio, casting her in one of our most important franchises is a real thrill." Director of the Spiderman reboot, Mark Webb added, "The chemistry between Andrew and Emma was stunning and made Emma the clear choice. At the heart of the story of Peter Parker is not only the amazing Spider-Man, but also an ordinary teenager who is wondering what he has to do to get the girl. Andrew and Emma will bring everything audiences expect to these roles, but also make them their own. Much to my surprise, it was fun to find out that our choice for Gwen (Emma) is also a natural blonde."

What do you Spiderman comic fans think of Emma Stone being cast as Gwen Stacy?? I honestly can't wait for this film, after seeing Andrew Garfield in 'The Social Network'
and Stone in 'Easy A' I think it has a lot of potential. Share your thoughts!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 Poster!!!

I am Number 4 Teaser Trailer!!!

Kill Bill Volume 3??

Director of 'Kill Bill Vol. 1', 'Kill Bill Vol.2', 'Pulp Fiction' and 2009's 'Inglorious Basterds', Quentin Tarrantino has thought of making a Kill Bill trilogy in the future. Here is what his thoughts and ideas are of making a third Kill Bill:

"So I'm sitting here thinking, "Fuck, if I could, I would," and I'd like to make it my DOLLARS TRILOGY, but I don't think it's a realistic possibility at this point, alright", Tarantino says of a third chapter. "If I did make it it would be years and years from now (like 14 or 15) and the plot would be about Vivica Fox's daughter seeking revenge on The Bride, after she killed her mother. It's cool because that scene where she kills her in front of the girl in KILL BILL seemed sort of open to expansion.
But by then Uma would be a lot older. I'd be a lot older. It would have nothing to do with killing Bill. It could be called KILL BRIDE but that's fucking corny. By then I'll be lucky to still have a job, and nobody will give a rat's ass about KILL BILL anymore (or, if I'm lucky, it'll just be a fond memory.)
If I get the chance...fuck yeah I'd do it...but basically right now I've got my whole career for the next twenty years planned out. I want to take my time with directorial projects. I don't want to be taking on two fucking movies a year like Spielberg did after he sold out, alright. That isn't me. I want to keep the same quality going so in the next twenty years I'll be lucky to make five or six movies. I want to go out in glory.
KILL BILL 3 might be a good bookend to my directorial career but chances are slim that it would ever actually happen. Uma hasn't really shown interest (we talked briefly about it a few weeks ago). I think she's past that shit now and I don't blame her. I love KILL BILL but the question is...in 15 years will I still want to be making it? Will Uma? Will I wanna risk fucking up the first two?
Hell no. So we'll see where this shit goes."

What do you think? How do you feel about a 3rd Kill Bill? I have to say I'm pretty intrigued.
